21+ For persons 21 years old and above only. Gambling can be addictive: set limits in your account and stop when it stops being fun. PAGCOR offers self-exclusion and a free, confidential 24/7 helpline.

Demo mode uses play credits, not money. Results in a demo don’t predict real-money play, and the real-money version can have a different return setting.
Gates of Olympus 1000 is Pragmatic Play’s larger-multiplier edition of its Zeus-themed hit. The rules stay close to the original: a 6×5 grid where eight or more matching symbols anywhere win, tumbles after every win, and multiplier symbols that Zeus throws onto the reels. What changes is the range. On Pragmatic Play’s official page, multiplier symbols now take values from 2x to 1,000x, against up to 500x in the original, and in the free games every multiplier that lands is added to a running total for the rest of the round. The official RTP is 96.50%, the same as the original. A free demo is available on Pragmatic’s own site, and the game is in PAGCOR’s approved list for PhilWeb / Pragmatic Play. This guide explains the running-total mechanic, the bonus buy, and how to approach a high-volatility game sensibly.

We found no promotion tied to Gates of Olympus 1000 at the listed sites on 24 September 2026. If you use bonus money on it, check two things. First, game contribution: CrazywinGo’s welcome bonus page says slot bets count towards turnover except on Pragmatic Play, PG Soft and King Midas games, so this game would not count there. Second, the bonus buy: Pragmatic’s page describes a buy in the base game for 100 times the stake, and bonus terms may exclude feature buys or cap the maximum bet in a way that rules them out.
Third-party guides also describe an ante bet that adds 25% to the stake to raise the chance of triggering the free games. Treat it as what it is, a higher stake per spin, and include it in your budget if you use it.

Figures are from Pragmatic Play’s official pages, checked on 24 September 2026, except where marked. The same headline RTP for both versions means the 1000 edition does not return more on average; it redistributes the return towards rarer, larger outcomes, which is what higher volatility means.
The key mechanic is how multipliers combine. In the base game, when a tumble sequence ends, the values of all multiplier symbols on screen are added together and applied to the total win of that sequence. In the free games, Pragmatic’s page says every multiplier that hits is also added to a running total multiplier. That running total carries through the round, so later wins benefit from multipliers that landed earlier. It is the opposite of a feature that resets every spin, and it is why the free games are where this game’s biggest results come from.
Compare that with Sweet Bonanza 1000, which looks similar on the surface. There, candy bombs are added up and applied at the end of each free spin’s tumble sequence, spin by spin. In Gates of Olympus 1000 the free games keep a total that grows across the whole round. A round with several small multipliers therefore tends to build steadily here, while in Sweet Bonanza 1000 each spin’s result depends more on the bombs that land in that spin. Neither design pays more on average; they produce different kinds of bonus rounds.
Why is it legal to offer in the Philippines? Not because of the PAGCOR offshore licence Pragmatic Play announced in 2016: PAGCOR cancelled all offshore licences effective 15 December 2024. The current basis is the Electronic Gaming Licensing Department’s list of approved games for PhilWeb / Pragmatic Play, which names this title. Any article that relies on the 2016 announcement is out of date.
How to play Gates of Olympus 1000
- Open the official demoPragmatic Play’s demo is linked at the top of this page.
- Set your stake and optionsDecide on the ante bet and the bonus buy before you start, not during a dry spell.
- Spin and tumbleEight or more of the same symbol anywhere win; winners are removed and new symbols tumble in.
- Watch for multiplier symbolsThey take random values from 2x to 1,000x. At the end of a tumble sequence, their values are added and applied to the win.
- Trigger the free gamesFour or more scatters award 15 free games; three or more during the round add 5. Multipliers add to the running total for the rest of the round.
A hypothetical free-games round: on spin two a 5x lands in a winning sequence, so the running total becomes 5x. On spin six a 10x lands with a win, and the total becomes 15x, applied to that win. On spin eleven a 2x lands in another win; the total is now 17x. Spins without multipliers still pay their normal wins, but any spin where a new multiplier lands in a win benefits from everything collected so far. Most rounds collect a modest total; the rare round that picks up a 500x or 1,000x early is where the game’s headline results come from. The exact rules are on the game’s information screen.
Gates of Olympus 1000 strategy
No strategy changes a spin’s outcome. With a high-volatility game and a 100x bonus buy on offer, strategy means controlling cost:
- Decide on the bonus buy in advance, if at all. At 100x, one buy on a ₱10 stake is ₱1,000, and the round can return less than that.
- Count the ante bet as stake. A reported 25% extra per spin means fewer spins for the same budget.
- Use a smaller stake than on medium-volatility slots; long stretches without free games are normal.
- Check the RTP on the information screen at the site where you play.
- Check bonus contribution before playing with bonus money.
A hypothetical comparison: ₱1,000 can be 100 spins at ₱10, 200 at ₱5, or one bonus buy at ₱10. The long-run return of the game is essentially the same whichever you choose; the difference is how long your session lasts and how likely it is to end in minutes. For most players, natural spins at a modest stake are the saner choice.
Who is Gates of Olympus 1000 for? Players who know the original, enjoy watching a multiplier build through a bonus round and accept high volatility. It suits less well small budgets and anyone who finds feature buys hard to resist.
On safety: the game is approved in PAGCOR’s list for PhilWeb / Pragmatic Play, and Pragmatic’s own demo is the genuine version. For money, play only at a site whose exact domain is in PAGCOR Guarantee or PAGCOR’s registers, and pay from its cashier with GCash, Maya or QR Ph.
