Of about 156 titles in PAGCOR’s Hacksaw list, around 145 are slots, with a handful of table and arcade-type games. The list is selective in interesting ways: it includes Chaos Crew 2 but not the original Chaos Crew, so if you read about Chaos Crew elsewhere, the version you can find at a PAGCOR-listed site is the sequel.

The RTP settings are the defining feature for players. Hacksaw’s official pages show, for example, four settings for Wanted Dead or a Wild: 96.38%, 94.55%, 92.33% and 88.42%. The gap between the highest and lowest is about eight percentage points. In money terms, that is the difference between a theoretical long-run cost of about ₱3.62 and about ₱11.58 per ₱100 staked, more than three times as much for the same game on the same screen. No other studio we cover makes the spread so explicit, which is to its credit; the responsibility for checking which setting you are playing lies with you.

The second defining trait is volatility. Hacksaw rates its games on a five-point scale, and several of its best-known slots sit at 4 or 5. Combined with ceilings of 10,000x to 12,500x, that makes them games of long dry spells and rare large wins, not steady small returns.

What does PAGCOR’s approval say about those settings? The list records each game by name, game code and version, such as Wanted Dead or a Wild as code 1114, version 1.0.2, RIP City as 1233 and Le Bandit as 1309; it does not print an RTP. The approval tells you the game is permitted on PAGCOR’s system, not which of its settings a given site has chosen. That is another reason the information screen at your site is the figure that counts.

Hacksaw’s Mines, approved as code 1124, is an example of the instant format. In Mines-style games generally, you pick squares on a grid, each safe pick raises the multiplier, and hitting a mine ends the round; the game’s own rules screen gives the exact values. A round can take seconds, which is exactly why it is easy to play hundreds of them without noticing.
